St. Ives in Cornwall is perhaps the most beautiful coastal town in the South West, full of history, art, and four of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall.
The town has a superb selection of restaurants, cafes, and pubs and has developed a very cosmopolitan feel together with an art and cultural scene which acts as a magnet for visitors from all over the world.
The Big Picture Holiday Apartments are two comfortable, fully refurbished self catering apartments, decorated and furnished in a modern and contemporary style. The property occupies a commanding position above St. Ives town centre, with perhaps some of the best views of the town, harbour and bay, and yet in just a few minutes you will find yourself in the bustling main streets of St. Ives All of the beaches in St. Ives are easily reached on foot, and if you want to get about by car, you will be pleased to know that both flats have an allocated off-road parking space. There is also additional paid parking at the long stay car park just along Park Avenue. The apartments are also only a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations. Note that it is possible to book both apartments to sleep large groups of up to 15 people, with easy access between the 2 apartments.
We have 2 spacious and comfortable apartments; a 4 bedroom apartment occupying the upper two floors of the property, and a 2 bedroom apartment. Both are furnished in a modern and contemporary style, and have superb views of St. Ives town and harbour. Both are fully equipped, including colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, washing machine, and microwave, as well a a good selection of books and games for adults and children.

The two bedroom apartment is very light and spacious with good size rooms, and fabulous views of the harbour, occupying the lower floor of the property. The lounge has an outstanding view from the front bay window, and is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas. The kitchen/diner is of a very good size and has been fitted with modern beech units and is fully equipped. The two bedrooms each have a double bed, but we can provide flexible sleeping arrangements by providing 2 quality folding beds for adults and older children, and travel cots for babies if required. There is off road parking for one car.
The four bedroom apartment is a very large and spacious apartment with very good size living area and bedrooms. It occupies the upper two floors of the property and has fabulous views of the town, harbour, and bay. The lounge/diner has an outstanding view from the front bay window and also from the dining area. It is comfortably furnished with 3 sofas and dining furniture for 8 people. The kitchen is of a good size, has been fitted with modern beech units and is fully equipped. There is an additional utility room for the washer/dryer and extra fridge space. The four bedrooms are comfortably furnished in a contemporary style, and all rooms have views of the harbour and bay. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and there is a good size family bathroom. The apartment sleeps 7 adults as standard but we can provide flexible sleeping arrangements by providing 2 quality folding beds for adults and older children, and travel cots for babies if required. There is off road parking for one car.
We are open all year, with short breaks, smaller party and 2 person rates available September to early June. Pricing and availability is detailed on our website. No smoking, and no pets. Children are very welcome. Visit Britain three star rated.
