Clean Ovens Without Harsh Chemicals : Swansea Oven Cleaning, Morriston
Swansea Oven Cleaning is a new company based in Morriston.
The company is run by Steve Baker who has been cleaning ovens for the past 3 years.
He was trained by Oven Cleaning Solutions Milton Keynes who are a very reputable company in Milton Keynes.
Swansea Oven Cleaning pride themselves on not using any harsh chemicals in peoples homes. The method Steve uses is a combination of elbow grease and the right tools.
How the oven clean works
If you were wondering exactly how this works I will explain:
When Steve arrives at your house he will firstly point out any damage that the oven already has. This is to avoid a very awkward moment at the end of a job where you think that Swansea Oven Cleaning has caused the damage, when actually its been there all along. Damage jumps out from an oven once it has been cleaned. Especially on glass and Stainless steel. Any Oven Cleaner who doesn’t make this there first priority you should be wary of.
Once any damage has been pointed out Steve will remove as many parts possible from your oven to be dunked in the specialist dip tank. Common parts to be submerged include fan cover, glass from door, racks, hob tops, light bulb covers and nuts.
After all parts have been removed he will start the job.
The first part of the job involves using a single edged blade to scrape off the thick hard burnt on carbon. Many customers worry that this may scratch the enamel! It will not and is the only way to remove the burnt on carbon. After the thick carbon has been removed the oven cleaning operative will then proceed to use a degreaser such a astonish to give the first clean. This degreaser will remove all sticky grease that the blade hasn’t removed. The last part of the process involves using a steely to polish the enamel. The glass is cleaned in much the same way. The thick dirt is bladed off. But a degreaser or a steely will not be needed as the dirt will be completely removed using just a blade.
Once the oven has been cleaned all removable parts will be taken from the tank and sprayed down with clean water and then the oven will be put back together…… Job Done!
Swansea oven cleaning can also clean other household appliances such as fridges, freezers, microwaves, hobs, extractor and BBQs. He has also been known to clean dishwashers, washing machines and full kitchens.
A clean oven for a great value price
The prices start from £40 for a single oven up to £110 for a full range which includes 3 ovens, an 8 burner hob and a large extractor hood. Grill pans can be cleaned for an extra fee although it is worth mentioning that if the grill pan does not require any manual work Steve will clean this for free. What this means is that if the grill pan comes up clean with just a dunk in the tank it will not be charged. Most grill pans do however cost because grill pans tend to be the dirtiest part of the oven. Steve will be able to make a fairly accurate prediction if it will cost or not.
The area that Swansea Oven Cleaning covers is fairly large. Popular areas include: Mumbles, Cardiff, Brecon, Neath, Port Talbot, Port Eynon, Bridgend, Aberdare, Mountain Ash, Merthyr Tydfil and Llanelli.
Discounts are sometimes available if you ask. In busy periods like Christmas and school holidays this will not be possible. Discounts are also available for referrals and repeat business.
The working hours for Swansea Oven Cleaning are Monday to Friday 9 – 5 and alternate weekends 9 – 5. Evenings are also possible on request. The Booking Line is however open from 8 – 8 seven days a week.
