We originally started trading in 2007 as an with an ethical, environmentally friendly operation. By making best use of defected carpet tiles that would have otherwise gone to landfill and finding a use for them.

Some of the original products we sold were classed a seconds, thirds or even scrap. They were still used by our customers for anything from temporary floor coverings to office refurbishments. Brilliant as a very cost effective alternative, especially when money is tight.

The carpet tiles we first sold were manufactured by Interface Flor, the worlds largest manufacturer of modular flooring systems, also the owner of the brand name Heuga. Carpet tiles with a bitumen backing proved very hard to recycle, so finding a use for the defected product was the best solution. Reuse rather than recycle. This allowed us to sell at an extremely discounted price to our customers.

As technology evolved over the years Interface Flor now have the machinery to recycle all the defected carpet tiles. It did mean for us we had to move our own business forward. Our customers liked our permanently low prices, and we did also get great demand for perfect brand new tiles, so keeping that in mind, that’s the way we moved things forward and evolved to where we are today.

From then on we started to import container loads from of newly manufactured carpet tiles. Still keeping the emphasis on permanently low prices by importing large volumes, and having a high customer base. Just recently we have now added UK manufactured carpet tiles to our available stock, therefore increasing our range of colours, styles, and qualities.

From budget range to heavy contract quality, we do it all. All of our stock comes straight from the manufacturer. Now we sell our products to the trade and other flooring retailers, as well as the general public. Cheap does not always mean low quality.

Benefits of carpet tiles

Carpet tiles are an effective economical flooring solution whether it’s for your home or office, especially in busy high traffic areas. Floor tiles are much easier to lay as they require virtually no DIY skills.

Carpet floor tiles are useful in any area of the home or office space. They are no longer seen as lifeless boring squares any more, but an aesthetically pleasing part of the home or work space. Decorative patterned designs can be created by mixing different colours of carpeting. For instance checkerboard patterns, maybe random squares of different colours, ideal to break up large areas of one colour, or different areas in a large office could be colour coded into unique designs.

Another major benefit is, if one gets damaged or stained from spillages, it is easy to just replace a single tile, rather than a full room if you had used a complete fitted carpet, and would cost money you could have saved. Sometimes you may just want to take up the few tiles in the doorway for a good deep clean, then just put back. For that reason, choosing carpet tiles can be extremely cost effective in an area vulnerable to spills. For example maybe where there are children, or a work place where dirty boots are always coming through.

Carpet tiles are generally made with a bitumen backing so there is no need for underlay, and there again saving you money, and easier to lay again.

The most popular range is the KD range, which is available in dark blue, light blue, dark grey, light grey, beige, and brown. Complete with 4mm bitumen backing – which is like a tough rubber, so there is no need for any underlay.

Delivery in England is now at a flat rate of only £20 regardless of order size. No minimum order quantity. We supply to homes, schools, offices, churches, virtually anywhere there is an internal floor space in need of a revamp.
